What do Delivery Drivers do while working at Wings Over?
-
Drive personal vehicle to customers’ homes to deliver prepared food orders in a safe, friendly courteous, timely and efficient manner
-
Performs pre-delivery vehicle maintenance to ensure vehicle is ready
-
Provides exceptional customer service to each and every customer
-
Responsible for taking cash and credit cards, makes change for customers and works with manager to handle, record and store cash correctly

Packages food orders for pick up or delivery, ensuring accuracy of order
-
Makes customer callbacks
-
Maintains the kitchen (back of the house) in a clean, neat and orderly manner
-
Ensures all dishes and cleaning is complete at the end of each shift
-
Ensures all kitchen/food preparation is completed each shift as needed which includes, sauces, vegetables, ribs and any other food items during non-delivery times

Follows food safety guidelines at all times

Cross train to assist order takers or cooks, when necessary

Other duties as assigned
What you need to be successful with us?

Availability during our hours of operation which includes evenings, late night, weekends and some holidays

Familiar with delivery area and streets to ensure prompt and safe deliveries

Thorough knowledge of the menu items and sauce flavors

Reliable, able to show up to work on time and for each scheduled shift

Proactive with all work related duties

Positive attitude with customers and coworkers

Cooperates with all team members

Must be legally eligible to work in the United States and able to provide appropriate documentation to complete the form I-9 within 3 days of their first day of employment

Must be 18 years of age, acceptable criminal background check, possess a valid driver’s license, maintain an acceptable motor vehicle record (MVR), proof of insurance and have a satisfactory vehicle

Savin Foods is a growing franchise operator of Wings Over and Smashburger fast casual restaurants. In January 2005, Savin Foods was formed and purchased two existing Wings Over locations: Wings Over West Hartford and Wings Over Storrs. In 2013 Savin Foods purchased the greater Boston territory for the Smashburger franchise.
Today, we have 5 Wings restaurants in central Connecticut, 4 in the greater Boston area and one Smashburger in Natick MA with additional Smashburger being opened in Westwood and Medford MA in early 2015.
