The Region Finance Director will assist Region the Vice President of Finance in supporting Market organization consisting of on average 11 Store Controllers and 17-20 Stores. The role will have significant responsibility for partnering with Market President and Market Staff to achieve Market budgeted goals each year. will work with the Region Vice President of Finance in supporting the region finance organization including the store controllers and the region operations group from a financial perspective. The Region Finance Director will be responsible for financial planning and analysis utilizing Corporate tools as well as region specific tools. The Region Finance Director will partner with the region management team, dealership GMs and dealership Controllers to ensure information is accurate , compliant and completed timely.
Job Responsibilities:
- Partner with the region and market operations teams, Region VP Finance, and dealership GM’s and controllers to support analysis and reporting of performance
- Assist the Vice President of Finance in directing and supervising the actions of the Store Controllers in a specific Market
- Work directly with the region finance team to assist in resolution of issues and achieving the budgeted targets for compensation and other SG& A
- Coordinate the planning and analysis effort for a Market including the dealerships for the accurate and timely completion of the DOC, forecasts and budgets
- Support initiatives that promote the development and growth of the store controller position
- Support key control efforts including accounting policies related to Sarbanes-Oxley
- Assist region in addressing issues and developing actions plans for various areas including, but not limited to, forecasts, budgets, monthly operating reviews, acquisitions, capital spend, DMS issues, accounting policy and internal audit findings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree
Excel, Hyperion, and database experience preferred
- Automotive Retail (Dealership) Controller experience strongly preferred
