Procurement Administrator

Review each purchase requisition for proper item description and technical references of specifications such as approvals, clearances, etc., and all other necessary data to include quality control and surveillance sufficient to initiate the required purchase.

Generate and issue Purchase Orders for goods / services

Ensure the proper approvals are obtained for all purchases. Assist in obtaining quality supplies/services needed for delivery at the time and place required
Monitors orders by verifying and investigating problems and rectifying issues with appropriate parties. Ensure the invoice or credit is received and applied to appropriate accounts.

Assist in researching and evaluating potential vendors and obtaining competitive bids.

Prepares and maintains Purchasing reports by collecting, analyzing, calculating, compiling and summarizing information.

Function as back up for the Assistant Production Managers. Duties may include, entering inventory to Sage Pro and issue raw materials from Sage Pro; monitoring inventories of PPE and consumables, resolving of issues with employee uniform program, janitorial services and vending machine services

Internal auditing of ISO 9001 and OSHAS 18001

Complete administrative projects for Purchasing, Production and other departments, as directed.

Responsible for Production Purchasing Administrative tasks, including but not limited to, data entry, filing, typing, correspondence, inventory control, report preparation, etc. Duties may be changed based on business needs.

Minimum of 3-5 years experience in procurement/purchasing/commodity management
