Product Support/Test Engineer

• Setting up test environment with Set-top boxes, Unix/windows Servers, Network Switches, IP based devices and Cameras
• Troubleshoot system and network issues
• Maintenance of Test Racks and equipment

• Support testing new product concepts and/or validating prototype solutions for potential integration with MDU/Commercial product offering.
• Support current test efforts - Test Execution, Writing Test Plans and network design diagrams for Commercial and MDU solutions.
• Provide network and systems engineering support to the Commercial and MDU Engineering teams.
• Support product launch activities including "proof of concept", Alpha and Beta testing phases.
• Support on-going field and product support activities (as required).

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Systems, Computer Engineering or similar engineering discipline required.
• Good hands on experience in Installation, Configuration and troubleshooting of Windows/Unix/Linux Systems
• Experienced in setting up wired and wireless networks
• Familiarity with System Testing
• Comfortable in writing scripts for automating systems and network operations.
• Development experience with C++/Java/HTML/Javascript/PHP/Socket Programming
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Must be detail-oriented with abilities to multi-task and to effectively handle changing requirements and priorities.
• Must be proficient in MS Office Products.
• Desirable to be proficient in network diagnostic tools such as IP packet captures, and RF spectrum analyzers
