The Warehouse Manager manages the production, safety, and efficiency of the entire warehouse operation. Ensures customer needs are met in the most timely and efficient manner possible. Ensures that the assets of the company are protected while supervising the activities of all teammates in the warehouse.

Essential Functions:

Manages, evaluates, motivates, communicates with, and leads all teammates under warehouse supervision. Directly manages all warehouse supervisors, in order to maintain a cohesive, motivated, capable workforce.

Ensures planning, direction, and scheduling of teammates work in order to optimized labor utilization and align with workflow.

Enforces all work and safety rules in order to ensure compliance with state and federal law, DOT, OSHA Regulations, and distribution center operations policy and procedure.

Coordinates work activities of warehouse with other departments to ensure cross-functional cooperation and availability of merchandise

Reports the status of all warehouse activities to the operations manager to ensure continuity of awareness among distribution center leadership team and to facilitate communication of warehouse issues to corporate resources for coordination and resolution

Responsible for the security of and welfare of warehouse teammates, security of the warehouse operations and building facilities in order to safeguard teammates and company assets.

Maintains inventory control and directs the taking of inventory per distribution center operations procedures in order to optimize cash flow for the organization

Sets and maintains all warehouse production standards and warehouse supervisor's goals and objectives in cooperation with the operations manager in order to ensure alignment of all teammate efforts to organizational goals and the company strategy.

Responsible for ensuring the maintenance and service of warehouse equipment through third-party vendor, including forklifts and pallet trucks, in order to maintain operational reliability and facility integrity and safeguard company assets.

Continually communicates strategy, initiatives, and policy throughout the organization through warehouse team meetings, supervisors meetings, and individual coaching sessions in order to fully align all teammates with company goals, objectives, and strategy.

Bi-lingual skills preferred may be preferred in certain geographic areas.

Required Skills
Able to use various computer applications such as Microsoft Office Excel & Word, Outlook, Oracle, and Kronos.

Must be very knowledgeable about DOT and OSHA regulations and human resource policies and procedures.

Good understanding of business finance.

Demonstrated management skills.

Familiar with best practices for inventory control, fleet and driver management, loss prevention, quality control, productivity management, and human resource policies and procedures
