Fire / Security Operations Captain

Specific responsibilities include:
  • Conduct interviews and hiring of Security & Fire Response staff
  • Participate in weekly and monthly meetings with TMMS Staff
  • Develop and manage site Security Protocol and Fire Response Procedures
  • Train and evaluate Security Officers and Fire Fighters
  • Maintain training, inspection and compliance reports
  • Manage payroll and overtime
  • Supervise Lieutenants and Sergeants
  • Manage Emergency Fire Response teams
  • Responsible for maintaining vehicle pass and ID systems


Qualifications
A successful candidate must meet the following requirements:
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • At least 21 years of age or older as required by applicable law or contractual requirements
  • Possess at least a high school education or equivalent (GED)
  • Demonstrate a stable work history
  • Pass an extensive background screening which includes, but is not limited to, criminal background checks (local, state and federal), drug test, aptitude tests, skills assessment, interviews, and personality profile (behavioral assessment)
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in leading security and fire operations in a dynamic industrial environment. Experience in Military, Site Safety, Law Enforcement or Fire Fighting operations is highly desirable. OSHA, Workers Compensation mitigation and/or Safety Management experience is also desirable but not required. MS Suite and web based program experience is helpful.
