In this Sr. IT Architecture Analyst role, you will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, performing options analysis, ensuring quality/alignment of Designs, and you will demonstrate and apply knowledge of enterprise architecture and standards. You will also be responsible for the development, communication and implementation of the organization's technology architecture and the components required to support it and the integration of corporate and technical architectures and applications.

Primary responsibilities:




  • Assess and interpret customer needs and requirements
  • Solve moderately complex problems and/or conduct moderately complex analysis
  • Provide explanation and information to others on difficult issues
  • Coach, provide feedback and guide others
  • Maintain knowledge of current domains and strategic roadmaps
  • Identify/quantify scope and impact of business changes on systems
  • Incorporate software and system architecture into conceptual designs
  • Support applicable modeling efforts (e.g., data modeling, process modeling, hardware modeling, performance modeling)
  • Provide oversight of conceptual designs to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture governance (e.g., principles, policies, standards, future-state reference architectures)
  • Maintain awareness of current technology assets, and the applicability and capability of each
  • Maintain awareness of current business and industry issues/trends and incorporate into enterprise architecture designs as appropriate
  • Acts as a subject matter expert to guide and craft enterprise class monitoring systems
  • Gather business requirements and align monitoring architecture to those requirements

Requirements

Required Qualifications:




  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent IT experience
  • 3+ years of experience building System Management environments utilizing Microsoft SCOM 2012 or 2007
  • Experience establishing monitoring criteria based on business, compliance, risk reduction and use case
  • Experience making recommendation configuration, improvements, upgrades and/or purchases
  • Functional experience as a monitoring engineer in a fast paced environment
  • Solid understanding of industry patterns for application architecture and integration


 


 


Preferred Qualifications:


 



  • 2+ years of experience building multi-tier applications such as Java, .NET, etc.
  • Experience with Agile methodology
  • Enterprise electronic messaging (Exchange/Zimbra)

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, Visio)
  • Health care industry experience
