The Business Process Solutions Expert will work to onboard new clients, analyze reporting trends, create department Excel macros for interacting with client and customer data, recommend best practices, and test SHARP enhancements, discuss BPS process with all BPS clients, and work to integrate and automate the BPS process with clients and customers
Responsibilities:
- Under general supervision, manages the extracts of internal and external data, analyzing data, drawing conclusions, and recommending changes to achieve client objectives.
- Partners with National BPS Operations Management and the BPS team in the development and maintenance of SHARP reports, templates and data reviews.
- Ensure timely and accurate flow of data to various resource areas supported by the BPS team.
- Responsible for data accuracy that may require analyzing data for completeness, format and conformity dealing independently and directly with SHARP and AFS/Becton Schantz IT.
- Requires interfacing directly with clients in the role of onboarding, data analysis and training for Acosta SHARP system and other BPS tools
- Manage troubleshooting of issues that may require analysis of reports, system processes, procedures and data in order to address issues, assist and/or recommend solutions to IT or data source providers for assigned clients and tools.
- Perform user-acceptance-testing for BPS team technology solutions.
- Assist in training and orientation of internal associates in the use of Acosta BPS tools, templates and resources as required.
- Other duties and assignments as outlined by Acosta BPS Management.
Requirements
- Must have a college degree or three years experience in food brokerage
- Must be able to demonstrate an advanced degree of proficiency in Windows and related software applications including Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
- Knowledge of advanced macros would be a strong asset.
- Must be able to effectively communicate with others.
- Must be able to operate standard office equipment.
- Experience in SHARP system solution would be a strong asset.
