About this job
Large packaging manufacturer is looking for a project engineer with a strong controls background. This position exists to replace the previous PM, who is now the Engineering Manager.
Essential Job duties include Allen Bradley ControlLogix programming, and working on projects within the plant. This candidate will be responsible for maintaining safety, product quality, preventative maintenance, and manufacturing effectiveness through daily troubleshooting and resolution of issues related to: PLCs and Programming, instrumentation and process control, and industrial networking.
Managing systems projects which include installations, operation and maintenance repair of equipment.
Will support the planning, development, implementation, and management of maintenance systems including the maintenance work order system and preventative maintenance programs.
Identifies and executes solutions for improvement in safety, quality, productivity and cost.
Develops and evaluates process capabilities, efficiency and productivity in all areas of manufacturing.
Incorporates Continuous Improvement principles into projects and operations.
Musts:
-BS in Electrical Engineering
-Strong Project Management Experience
-Expert in hands-on PLC programming
-Experience with preventative maintenance, carrying out process improvements, and management of control systems
