Job Description

- Location: Henderson, CO

- Direct hire

- $50,000 - $60,000 base + commission. Top performers can exceed $200k!

- Some travel may be required

Essential Responsibilities:

Qualify, close and negotiate contracts with prospective customers being responsive to their needs and achieving acceptable revenue levels and profit margins.

Achieve written activity goals while enhancing sales skills by focusing on Value Based Selling and Establishing Relationships.

Develop and follow a marketing plan for your territory to include prospecting goals, target markets, initiatives launched through marketing, phone and personal contact. Gear the plan toward expansion of existing markets and penetrations of new/emerging markets.

Follow up on qualified leads and close for appointments.

Perform customer specific presentations emphasizing our capabilities and ability to do turn-key projects.

Prepare accurate, detailed and effective proposals including: sales information; scope; specs; pricing; schedule; clarifications; drawings and other applicable information.

Communicate effectively with PM on a regular basis to develop accurate cost estimates, scopes and clarifications for proposals.

Negotiate proper contract terms and conditions to efficiently move the contract through review. Mitigate risk and maintain a positive cash flow.

Effectively delegate primary responsibility for non-sales tasks (outside of job description) to personnel within the team. Offer assistance if needed in completion of the tasks.

Implement RS Means and Co-Op pricing in sales effort to develop less competitive opportunities for revenue and profit generation.

Follow up on all branch/SSC referrals within 24 hours.

Maintain an accurate pipe line in a timely fashion as requested.

Maintain accurate information on branch referral lead spread sheet in a timely fashion as requested.

Interact with corporate and third party finance companies to gain credit approvals for projects.

Work with factories and subcontractors to establish and maintain strong business relationships.

Submit all documentation to Admin in an accurate and timely fashion. Interact with Admin on a regular basis for proper information exchange especially as it relates to forecasting.

Maintain excellent service including effective verbal and written communication at all times with internal and external customers.
