Description

IFCS is seeking a Medical Billing Specialist to also serve as an Office Coordinator. This person in this position plays an important role in the overall success of each local IFCS location. This person will be involved with various aspects of the daily business activities that are associated with the mental health services provided by our counselors.


Some of the duties of the Billing Specialist/Office Coordinator include coordination of building maintenance, office equipment and purchasing. Office Coordinators also supervise work flow of administrative staff under the direction of a manager or director. The Office Coordinator may also perform administrative duties such as scheduling, preparing correspondence, answering telephones and filing.

Another primary responsibility will be to oversee the processing of new or returning employees via IFCS’ HRIS program.

Qualifications
  • Associate’s degree in related field or equivalent in knowledge and experience
  • Five years of administrative support experience
  • Proven proficiency with Microsoft Office products-especially Excel
  • Evident proficiency in Medicaid/Medicare billing
