Description
DISH's Equipment Remanufacturing team ensures the high quality condition of millions of satellite receivers and remote controls. State-of-the-art facilities in El Paso, TX, Spartanburg, SC, and Englewood, CO, use advanced diagnostic tools and automated equipment to test, refurbish and redistribute hardware to customers.
The Janitor is responsible for cleaning work facilities and maintaining an orderly work environment for employees.
Requirements
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED and at least two years of experience required.
SKILLS
Ability to read, write and understand the English language.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional variables.

- Sweeps, mops, scrubs, and vacuums hallways, stairs, restrooms, and office space.
- Empties trash containers into appropriate dumpsters.
- Replaces restroom supplies and trash container bags when necessary.
- Notifies supervisor when replacement supplies and equipment are needed.
- Notifies management when facility repairs are needed
- Cautions employees on safety risks, e.g. wet floors, etc.
- Other duties as required.
