Job overview
Maintenance Helpers and Utility Engineers work to ensure the general maintenance and repair of IHR properties.
What you will be doing
The Preventive Maintenance Engineer's primary responsibility will be to complete the highest quality PMs (Preventive Maintenance and Deep Cleaning) of our guest suites. A guest suite PM consists of the following:
- Thorough inspection of guest suite, ensure proper working order of all items in suite
- Electrical/Plumbing repairs
- Paint & Furniture touch ups
- Deep Cleaning of all mechanical/HVAC/kitchen equipment in suites
- Carpet cleaning
- Tile Cleaning
- Mattress rotation
Requirements
- Hours are slightly flexible, but preferred to be 10am - 2pm, 5 days per week. Applicants can expect to work weekends and some holidays.
- Knowledge of maintenance trades, basic electrical, plumbing, mechanical and carpentry.
- Basic mechanical aptitude for operation and repair of hotel equipment and related tools.
- Basic English language communication and math skills.
- Able to move heavy equipment and work at heights up to 30 feet.
