Pridestaff Financial, a specialized Accounting and Financial staffing firm, is in need of a strong UnionPayroll Specialist for a large and local client of ours. This is a temp to hire opportunity making $19.00/hour!

Union Payroll Specialist – Construction Company



Job Description:



As the Union Payroll Specialist you will report to the Accounting Manager. As the Union Payroll Specialist you will be required to perform the following tasks daily but not limited to:

Collecting times and verifying any missing punches with the supervisors.

Regularly monitoring and inputting time off request forms.

Preparing documents for employment verification and wage garnishment information.

Heavy data entry.

Run reports.

Preparing workers comp forms and files.

May provide back up support for employee benefits administration.

FMLA, COBRA and other employee related forms and follow up.

Payroll accruals and other month end calculations.

Assisting with reception duties as needed.

Assist CFO with any projects as requested.



Union Payroll Specialist – Construction Company

Job Requirements:

BA degree in Accounting/Finance

3 + years’ payroll experience

3 + years’ experience handling union payroll

Experience with a construction company preffered

Knowledge of workers comp and benefits
