Requirements

• Must be hospitable and demonstrate the ability to serve our guests in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Basic English language communication skills.
• Able to operate a keyboard to input room service orders may be a requirement of the position as well.
• You should enjoy serving and assisting others.
• Professional presentation and communication skills.
• This is a night time position and please note that this position flexes as a Room Service Order Taker on 2 nights.
• TABC and Texas Food Handlers certification.
• Any combination of education, training or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. 

What you will be doing

• Set up room service trays and tables in anticipation of incoming orders.
• Retrieve check from order taker and place order with kitchen. When picking up, be certain that order is complete, i.e., all food, beverages, alcoholic beverages, and all condiments.
• Carry trays up to 30 (??) lbs. or push wheeled carts to deliver room service orders to guests in a friendly and courteous manner to ensure guest satisfaction. After set up, present check.
• Assist buspersons in removing trays and tables from guest floors and returning them to designated locations.
• Prepare complimentary fruit baskets and deliver to guest rooms.
