Description

Corporate Facilities Technician– Plano, TX
The Facilities Technician will report to the Chief Facilities Engineer. This role is responsible for providing services required for installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical and mechanical components and general building maintenance.

Position Responsibilities
  • Responsible for identifying needed repairs, creating and responding to work requests, scheduling and completing work required to maintain facility in optimum condition
  • Competency in plumbing and general electrical services and repairs
  • Able to respond to emergency call-ins on a 24/7 basis
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair including but not limited to: plumbing, electrical, and general requests
  • Support office moves and relocations and cubical modifications
  • Complete and enter data in MS Office and as required in CMMS
  • Partner with associated vendors to provide on premises support and repairs to resolve facility issues as required
  • Act as on-site liaison with vendors to resolve complaints, provide access and insure work is completed satisfactorily.
  • Monitor and train vendors in required safety procedures regarding fire codes and work GMPs-Act as on-site manager of building alarm and fire system
  • Manage contract preventive maintenance agreements with vendors.
  • Technician will be a primary resource for entering, maintaining and resolving work orders for the Facility team
  • Coordinates work assignments and ensures timely and accurate closures of work orders
  • Will monitor and manage BMS schedules and troubleshoot system as needed
  • Will work closely with Facility Office Management team to coordinate special events and provide support as needed
  • Manage assigned capital projects and large operational repairs as required and execute according to outlined scope
  • Demonstrate solid written and oral communication skills

  • Must be able to lift 50lbs, climb ladders, stoop, bend, work at heights, and work in hot and cold areas when required.
