Local Sidney manufacturing facility seeking DIRECT HIRE Toolmaker/Machinists on second and third shift!
Position specifications:
Perform machining operations per job requirements -- milling, grinding or using other manual machines to fabricate steel details to match print or CAD data
Perform fitting and assembly operations per instructions -- able to finish and accurately adjust details for smooth movement and final assembled location of slides, lifters and inserts
Support management and project leaders in completing projects on time and within quoted hours
Completes all work orders accurately and efficiently
Works to ensure safety practices; reduce downtime; decrease scrap; improve quality production; and improve plant efficiency.
Maintains a 5S, safe, clean E-Environment
Performs other duties as assigned.
