About this job

This is a key role within the expanding e-commerce team at hhgregg, and would focus on supporting the ecommerce business and marketing teams. This individual will leverage existing analytics and optimization tools and data points to identify revenue/profit-generating opportunities and develop actionable insights for partners in multiple business categories.

Responsibilities
•Identify the key business processes, questions, decision points, and campaigns; design and execute measurement and reporting strategy; build out reusable reports and dashboards
•Independently identify "low hanging" opportunities for analysis and optimization on the site that increase conversion or drive revenue
•Maintain and evolve clear, concise reporting on e-commerce KPI's with a focus on actionable insights
•Perform complex Ad Hoc queries and analyses that combine multiple tools and data sources and types, including analysis for other stakeholders/projects as needed
•Perform data quality audits, identify data collection issues and gaps, and recommend fixes
•Drive adoption and utilization of web analytics tools and data by other groups through training and facilitation
•Assist with paid, earned and owned media measurement
•Assist with the testing and optimization program by identifying testing opportunities and reporting on results.

Requirements:
•Bachelor's degree required
•2-5 years of Web Analytics experience
•Expertise in 1-2 Web Analytics tools (Adobe SiteCatalyst & Discover preferred; Google Analytics)
•Experience with other analytics/testing/optimization tools is a plus (Adobe Target, Foresee, etc)
•Experience working with large data is a plus
•Strong interest in eCommerce business and passion for driving results
•Highly motivated/self-starter with a sense of ownership, willingness to learn, high degree of curiosity and desire to succeed
•Passion for learning and data-informed decision making that shapes a holistic view of our business across all aspects of the customer experience
•Ability to form partnerships with various stakeholders (product managers, IT/ Development, and others)
•Must perform well in high pressure situations, balance competing priorities, and demonstrate the ability to work without direct supervision
