Plant Manager

We have a full-time/part-time opening for a Plant Manager.

Must be able to work various shifts per week.

A leading manufacturer and distributor of coal slag roofing granules and blasting abrasives has an immediate opening and is seeking a highly motivated individual. Responsibilities include: *Provide a proactive and self-sustaining culture whereby environment, health and safety policies are adhered to according to Company guidelines. *Provide guidance and direction to production workers and maintenance staff while actively resolving problems and implementing corrective action. *Meet customer orders and ensure quality of product as defined by Company policies. *Report productivity performance to Operations Manager on an ongoing basis. *Evaluate and manage operational costs, equipment / process efficiencies and communicate to personnel. Qualifications: *Minimum of 5 years experience supervising in a manufacturing environment. *Understand heavy industrial processes and a sound working knowledge around electrical / conveyor and hydraulic. *Committed to Safety and Environment compliance. *Ability to work with minimal supervision. *Demonstrated record of achieving results.
