Linux / Weblogic Systems Engineer Job - Full-time / Part-time

Linux / Weblogic Systems Engineer needed for contract to permanent opportunities with Yoh's client located in Denver, CO.

What You'll Be Doing:

- Responsible for support and operation of provisioning, Cable/MSO systems which include hardware, software, applications and other related infrastructure.
- Support multiple teams which includes development, engineering and lab teams and will provide operational support of various systems.
- Ensure that system hardware, operating systems, and applications maintain high levels of up-time and will participate in outage bridges to triage and repair those systems.
- Identify and manage all aspects of end to end delivery of technical core services and impacts to customers and their projects.
- Manage day to day technical challenges and communicate any risks or issues associated with the activities and mentor staff through the technical challenges.
- Assist management with resource planning and allocation in the delivery of the core services.
- Coordinate service delivery metrics and reporting against SLAs.
- Collaborate with IT partners to devise capacity plan and ensure appropriate infrastructure and other support systems are in place for the end to end service delivery.

What You Need to Bring to the Table:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Broad experience and knowledge of technologies, tools, frameworks, patterns, vendor packages and platforms.
- Five (5+) years' experience in Linux Administration and 2 years of Weblogic support.
- Some experience in Java Application deployment, configuration and integration.
- Experience or working knowledge of automating tasks with WLST or shell scripting.
- Experience with Project Management Principles and methodologies is desirable
- Ability to understand and align IT Architecture and business strategy with business solutions.
- Team player with good communication skills.
