Machine Operator-Forklift - Full-time / Part-time

Manpower is currently recruiting for a Material Handler-Forklift Driver position for one of our clients in Colfax, CA! Job Responsibilities: *Safely and efficiently operate forklifts and other equipment to support the operations of the Cidery through transporting raw materials and finished goods. *Accurately and efficiently track inventory, load trucks and complete paperwork to ensure the delivery of our product to distributors. *Works with minimal supervision and have the ability to solve problems with limited guidance in a fast-paced environment. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: *Operates a forklift in a safe and efficient manner. *Adheres to inventory management practices and procedures. *Accurately completes bills of lading and other paperwork. *Understands and follows quality assurance standards to ensure only the highest quality products leave the facility. *Applies safe work standards in all tasks to minimize risk of injury or damage to property and inventory. *Follows documented work procedures. *Maintains a safe and clean work space. *Complies with Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) laws and regulations along with Crispin Cider Company policies and procedures. Requirements: *Position is physically demanding and labor-intensive, requiring lifting of 50 pounds frequently. *Must have a high school diploma or GED; be literate (read and write) in the English language and at least 21 years of age. *Must be able to stand for periods of 8 hours or longer. *Prefer prior experience in a manufacturing environment and prior experience operating a forklift. *Must be able to successfully complete forklift certification and maintain a safe operating record. Must be able to demonstrate a mechanical aptitude. *Flexibility with working multiple shifts (1st, 2nd and 3rd) is required.
