We are currently hiring for a Credit Assistant in the Jacksonville, FL area for a major seafood distribution facility! The Credit Assistant will be assisting in the administrative function of wholesale company credit functions.
Your pay and shift for the Credit Assistant will be:
Pay based on experience, 8:00am to 5:00pm, Full Time
As a Credit Assistant you will:
- Support a credit risk management environment in accordance with established credit guidelines
- Support in the approving Customers’ orders for credit
- Reconcile transactions and balances to maintain accurate accounts
- Post receipts and process credit memos
- Collect accounts receivable funds
- Assist in the collection of delinquent balances
In this Credit Assistant role the following is required:
- A minimum of 2 year Associate Degree
- Coursework in Accounting
- Minimum of 2 years experience in comparable accounts for payable accounts receivable
- Familiarity of Microsoft Office, Excel and Word
- Bilingual in Spanish a plus
- Excellent written/verbal communications skills, good math and analytical skills
We may conduct a formal criminal background check and drug screen prior to placement.
