The Norwood office of Home Instead Senior Care is seeking a Weekend On-Call Service
Supervisor.
This is a flat rate position which pays $150 per weekend. The flat rate pay is whether or not you get any calls. In the event you have to drive a CAREGiver or fill in for a shift you would be reimbursed for mileage at $0.58 per mile as well as being paid your hourly CAREGiver rate for the time involved.
We are looking for someone to work every other weekend. You would need to arrive to the office on Friday by 5pm to pick up the on-call phone, laptop and schedule. You would need to drop off the on-call phone, laptop, schedule, and the weekend notes by 9am Monday morning.
The responsibilities include:
The candidate needs to have excellent communication, organization and problem-solving skills.
CNA/personal care experience required. Also ideal for retired nurses looking for part-time work. Training for this position would be on a weekday to get familiar with our system, phone, and laptop.

- Answering incoming calls on the weekend from Friday 5pm to Monday 9am.
- Address questions and/or concerns from CAREGivers, clients or family members.
- Calling CAREGivers to get coverage in the case another CAREGiver cannot make it to a shift for whatever reason.
- Provide transportation for CAREGivers to get to the shift in case of car trouble.
- Monitor the “missed clock-in” alerts and the “dashboard” to ensure all scheduled shifts are covered.
- Fill in as a CAREGiver in the instance a shift opens and you cannot get coverage.
- Keep detailed notes which would be emailed to the office by 7am Monday morning
