Students must maintain a GPA of 2.50/4.00 or above. The program offers competitive pay and will extend for 10 consecutive weeks; 40 hour per week.

Job Description:
Provide opportunity for learning and engagement in various functional areas within Merchandising including support, training, documentation, operations and systems development. Position will serve in various capacities within each functional area to provide a broad scope of training to the intern as a potential stepping stone to a career in Merchandising.
1. Work with Merchandising TEAM

- Enrolled in a 4 year program as a rising Junior or Senior
- Enrolled in a 5 year program upon completion of 4 th year of program

- Have strong communication skills
- At least 2 years of formal education

- Learn basics of Auto Cad and Store Planner systems
- Learn the Spaceman system planogram system
- Develop an understanding of the Space To Sales Analysis at category level
- Develop an understanding of merchandising standards, category adjacencies, and valley merchandising
- Develop understanding of Space To Sales Analysis and Merchandising Standards down to the SKU level
- Work with Merchandise Planner to develop, complete and planograms
- Develop/learn project management through assignment of merchandising project for the summer internship.
