Actuarial Consultant - Multiple Locations

Primary Responsibilities:

• Data analysis


• Actuarial modeling


• Participating in client relationships


• Designing and running complex data programs


• Performing quantitative analysis of actuarial, financial, utilization and costs data


• Performing calculation of reserves, development of program rates and forecasting/trend analysis

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Math, Economics or a related degree


• 2+ years of actuarial experience


• Candidates must be on the Actuarial exam track, having passed a minimum of two or more Actuarial exams


• Ability to communicate complex information

Preferred Qualifications:

• ASA or FSA designation


• Health care experience


• At least an intermediate level of proficiency in MS Excel and Access


• At least a basic level of proficiency with SAS (Statistical Analysis System) and/or SQL (Structured Query Language)
