Service Technician - Full-time / Part-time

Immediate opening for a Service Technician in Fort Wayne, IN. While in this role, you will be efficiently changing out air filters for HVAC units, greasing filters, installing and removing frames on HVAC units and performing other services offered by the company. Candidates for this position should be comfortable traveling (using company van) regionally between 7 states (WI/MN/IN/OH/IL/WV/KY). This position will require up to 10-12 overnights per quarter. Job Responsibilities: -Complete daily routes in a timely fashion and provide customers with quality service. -Work effectively with other service technicians, production workers and staff in order to make there job as efficient as possible Minimum Qualifications: -Strong mechanical aptitude. -1-2 years of related experience to include handyman, facilities, mechanical or construction experience. -Must be at least 21 years old. -Have or obtain a DOT medical certificate. -Must have a valid drivers license and clean driving record that meets company safety and insurance standards. -Ability to read and write in English in order complete the daily paperwork. -Basic math skills including, but not limited to fractions and decimals. -Neat appearance, good communication skills and positive attitude. -Not afraid of heights or tight spaces. -Able to use hand tools (Wrench, Nut drivers, Screw Drivers, Power Drills) -Good organization skills. -Ability to read maps. You must pass extensive background check which includes a drug screen as well as a Motor Vehicle check and complete the training/mentoring program and prove to have solid performance.
