Summary:
The Senior Manager, Marketing Strategy will collaborate with leadership teams across the organization on a wide variety of initiatives to drive profitable business growth. This individual will be charged with identifying new and innovative marketing activities and leading implementation from testing to national rollout. The Senior Manager, Marketing Strategy will play a key role in new concession opportunities, developing positioning strategies and writing proposals. This individual will also partner with the global research team to gather actionable insights on the US traveler and transform such insights into compelling marketing initiatives. The Senior Manager, Marketing Strategy reports to the Head of Marketing, US.

Essential Functions:

* Partner with the global marketing team to identify new marketing activities, particularly in the mobile and digital arena, that anticipate changing marketing and consumer trends.
* Build well-reasoned business cases to support allocating budget to test new activities.
* Lead the testing process from developing testing plans and gaining buy-in on from internal/external stakeholders through implementation, result gathering, and recommendation development.
* Develop national rollout plans for successful initiatives and oversee end-to-end implementation, including solving challenges and serving as the main point of contact for all stakeholders.
* Partner with the Global Head of Insight to develop an annual research calendar.
* Oversee external agencies and liaison with airport landlord and operational staff on research projects.
* Transform insights into actionable learning’s and compelling marketing activities.
* Partner with the development teams to anticipate upcoming concession opportunities.
* Gather consumer insights and develop positioning recommendations for new opportunities.
* Draft proposals for new business.

Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Work Environment:

* Bachelors Degree required; MBA strongly preferred.
* 2+ years of experience post-MBA or the equivalent work experience; strategy and innovation experience a plus.Exceptional analytical skills.
* Demonstrated ability to transform data into actionable learnings and informative, persuasive presentations.
* Team player able to influence partners, build consensus and work in cross-functional and geographically diverse teams.
* Ability to be flexible and thrive in an always-evolving, fast-paced work environment.
* Must be highly organized and able to multi-task.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* A self-starter with demonstrated initiative.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office.
* Approximately 20% travel required.
