Maintenance Mechanic - Full-time / Part-time

We have a full-time/part-time opening for a Maintenance Mechanic.

Must be able to work various shifts per week.

ManpowerGroup is currently seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to help support our client's team in Foothill Ranch, CA. This is a temporary assignment that will last approximately 2-3 months. The pay rate is $18/hr. Job Description: *Repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment such as engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines and equipment *Observes mechanical devices in operation and listens to their sounds to locate causes of trouble *Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts *Inspects used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements *Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments *Repairs or replaces defective parts *Complete required documentation for repairs, adjustments and preventive maintenance *Lubricates and cleans parts *Starts devices to test their performance *Sets up and operates lathe, drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools to make and repair parts *Initiates purchase order for parts and machines *Fabricate and weld parts when assigned *Assist with machine operation as assigned *Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, frequently exposed to high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles and risk of electrical shock, occasionally exposed to vibration Requirements: *High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 1-3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience *Manufacturing/Pharmaceutical or GMP experience required *Must be mechanically inclined and experienced with electrical systems *Electrician experience is a plus *Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume, and apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry *While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear *The employee is frequently required to sit; climb or balance *The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 100 lbs.
