Staff Management |SMX is searching for the best candidates to work for an entry level and experienced Maintenance Helpers in the Savanna, IL area for a major automotive parts manufacturer! Come Join a Great Team!

Maintenance Helpers with be performing basic preventative maintenance on all of the machines for hot forging as well as helping with other general upkeep projects as needed.

Full-Time Positions Available for 1st and 2nd Shifts!

Pay & Benefit for the Maintenance Helper

1st Shift: $11.00 from 12 pm to 8:30 pm

2nd Shift:$12.00 from 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm

Monday – Friday, possibility of overtime on weekends

Full-time long term Temporary to Hire Positions

Maintenance Helper Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED
• A minimum of 1 year prior mechanical, manufacturing or industrial experience.
• Prior crane experience
• Prior forklift experience
• Able to clean cooling pits in Hot Forging Press area
• Greasing and cleaning of machinery
• Must be able to lift up to 100lbs throughout shift
• Must be able to stand shift Duration
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
