  • Researches and gathers necessary information in preparation for updating tables, directories and/or other information in the computer system.
  • Reviews source documents for completeness and accuracy prior to data entry.
  • Maintains a strong, current knowledge of related information.
  • Enters data in the computer system. Verifies from source documents that information entered into the computer system is accurate and complete.
  • Responds to field inquiries related to data entered into the computer system by telephone contact or written communication. May provide related assistance with training programs for computer system users.
  • Provides back-up assistance for departmental data entry support as needed. Maintains hard copy files of specific related information.
  • Performs other related duties as directed by supervisor.


Qualifications

  • Education or experience equivalent to a high school diploma is required.
  • At least one year related experience is required.
