Parts Manager

Responsibilities include

• Maintaining parts inventory for all types of vehicles, including stock levels, daily and special orders, and controlling aging & shrinkage. 
• Assigning parts to a vehicle stock number or RO
• Maintaining vendor relations and hazardous disposal logs
• Monitoring quality and costs of parts
• Assisting in hiring process and performance management of inventory associates.

Previous experience in an automotive parts related industry preferred.   Direct supervisory experience, and success in performance managing and developing associates also required.  Must be detail oriented and organized. Demonstrated ability to build vendor relations and a successful track record of inventory control required.  Must also have excellent customer service skills.  Satisfactory completion of Entry MAP may be required (applicable to internal CarMax associates only).
