As a HR Coordinator, your role is help our team harness the power of employees and culture to create people-related strategies that enable the transformation of our business. That means you'll need to partner closely with the HR Team and employees to deeply understand our business and our people. Major Responsibilities:

• Be visible and engaged on the manufacturing floor on a daily basis.

• Create and manage a new hire onboarding process that welcomes our new employees and sets them up for success.

• Understand and manage critical bargaining unit people processes including seniority roster, vacation planning, job bids, OT postings, and discipline administration

• Manage processes to ensure that all our employees are paid correctly. This includes partnering with key Corporate HR SME as well as 3rd party vendors for Time and Attendance, FMLA, STD, Unemployment Claims, Tuition and Safety Shoe Reimbursement and contractually mandated payments such as base pay increases.

• As a skilled teacher, partner with employees and managers to fully utilize the Self Service tools available to them as well as coach Managers on the CBA and associated processes.

• Use data and problem solving methodologies to continuously improve HR processes and service levels to the business


• Help create an environment of collaborative labor relations which balances the needs of the business, employees and the CBA.















Additional Requirements:





Below are the minimum requirements for this position. Bachelor's degree with emphasis in a Human Resources field and 3 to 5 years' experience, preferably in HR Manufacturing Union Environment


•Knowledge of and experience in union factory operations in a manufacturing environment preferred

• Comfortable rolling up your sleeves to help teammates get things done

• Enjoy fast paced environment and effectively manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
• Provide expertise in the following areas: payroll, time & attendance administration, New hire and termination processing, FMLA administration

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications, and experience with HR applications such as Workday and Kronos

• Displays a high degree of professionalism

• Has the ability to effectively communicate to employees at all levels

• Is able to maintain confidentiality to sensitive information

• Has the ability to work independently and displays self-initiative

• Is comfortable with tasks requiring high attention to detail and accuracy

• Demonstrates flexibility, ability to improve HR processes
