Concrete / Masonry General Laborer

We have a opening for a Concrete / Masonry General Laborer.

Must be able to work various shifts per week.

Manpower, Inc. of SE Michigan is currently seeking a concrete mason laborer to work for our client in Ann Arbor, MI. This is a full-time, long-term temporary position paying $12.00-13.00 per hour. Interested candidates must be hard-working, reliable, attentive, and able to perform physically demanding working. Give us a call for more information or to apply today! Job duties include, but are not limited to: * Prepping worksite by breaking up and removing any old concrete. * Setting concrete forms, ensuring they are properly constructed and have the correct depth and pitch. * Spreading, leveling, and smoothing concrete using a rake, shovel, trowel, screed, and/or float. * Monitoring weather conditions to ensure curing of the concrete throughout the entire process. * Assisting in finishing work by applying hardening/sealing compounds to cure, waterproof, and/or restore surface. Preferred qualifications: * A high school diploma/GED. * A valid driver's license and clean driving record. * Ability to perform physically demanding work including lift 50-75 pounds. * Ability to perform the following functions 100% of the time for a full shift: reaching, standing, walking, pushing, lifting, grasping, twisting, stooping, squatting, and bending. * Ability to follow and commit to all safety guidelines at all times. * Previous masonry experienced preferred.
