  • Communicates with patients via phone to generate re-supply orders.
  • May also receive calls from potential new customers.
  • Assess patient needs and promotes company products and services.
  • Assists management in identifying opportunities for business growth and improved profitability.
  • Serves as the primary patient point of contact.
  • Responsible for delivering quality patient service in entire re-supply process and coordinates, when necessary, with other Apria employees to ensure patient needs are met.
  • Educates customer on use and maintenance of disposable supply products. Identifies patient problems and refers patient to others when necessary to resolve issues and questions.
  • Identifies, verifies, and corrects customer data based on telephone inquiries.
  • Completes all necessary documentation in an accurate manner to ensure correct data entry, product delivery, and collection of accounts receivable.
  • Determines appropriate schedule for follow-up contact.
  • Adopts best practices and adheres to Apria's customer-service related policies and procedures.
  • Follows proper procedures for handling orders and shipments. Stays abreast of relevant regulations and payor policies.
  • Serves as mentor to new employees, assisting in formal and informal training.
  • Performs other related duties as directed by supervisor.


Qualifications

  • Education or experience equivalent to a high school diploma is required.
  • At least three years related work experience is required.
