As our Sourcing specialist, you will be responsible for sourcing supply chain inventory for Oakwood's top national accounts. In this fast-paced and exciting role, you will act as the liasion between our Customer Fulfillment teams, field market partners, and external providers in gathering quality housing options. You will assure the timely and accurate delivery of housing options to meet Service Level Agreements and to convert opportunities to move-ins.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Respond to large volume of temporary housing requests via our online reservation system.
  • Perform review of supply chain options to identify solutions that meet Critical to Service (CTS) critieria.
  • Partner with internal customers and external providers to assure timely delivery of housing options and initiation of booking process.
  • Utilize Oakwood's e-procurement system to solicit providers, collect options, and communicate request status to providers.
  • Assure that Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met based on team and/or customer expectations (response times, terms, rates, etc).
  • Act as resource for traditional and alternative housing solutions to convert opportunities into move-ins.
  • Maintain documentation on Supply Chain providers.
  • Accurately manage Siebel including but not limited to Activities, Attachments, and RFH status.
  • Assist in the training and on-boarding of internal and external associates (e.g. chair sides).
  • Grow relationships with Supply Chain providers.
  • Actively participate in team meetings and training sessions.
  • Effectively communicate via phone and email with internal and external customers.
  • Adjust schedule as needed to assure coverage across all time zones, or to cover for another Associate.
  • Perform special projects and related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • 1-2 year certificate from college or technical school; or 1-2 years related experience and/or training;
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
  • Knowledge of hospitality/temporary housing a plus
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Active listening skills and ability to proact
