On-site Service Consultants support Grainger's strategic vision to be our customer's first choice by helping them manage their inventory. In addition the team member assist to navigate customers to solutions that help them get the job done and they drive sales growth by engaging in actions that identify leads for further selling opportunities with every customer.
**This is a part time position with potential for full time**
The On-site Service Consultants will assist customers in the branch location as well as on-site at our customers' location.
Requirements include but are not limited to:
2-4 years experience in selling environment
Ability to identify opportunities and negotiate for the sale
Self-motivated, with high energy and dedication to customer service and sales growth
Comply with the safety and inspection requirements of the facility where the service is being provided.
Will be required to lift, push or pull weights ranging from light to heavy on a regular basis.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Background checks, drug screening may be required (as warranted by Company, customer or DOT requirements in working on-site and/or operating equipment).
May be required to drive a Grainger vehicle for customer deliveries.
Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license in State of residence
Must carry required levels of automobile insurance
