Quality Inspector - Full-time / Part-time

Aerotek is currently proactively seeking candidates for quality inspector positions with our customers. Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years experience as an inspector and be familiar performing visual inspections and dimensional inspections. If candidates have experience performing more detailed inspections on aerospace products or printed circuit boards, this would be a bonus. Candidates will be expected to troubleshoot, analyze, and collect data on various parts and finish goods using the appropriate measuring tools. More job functions and duties are listed below:

* Performs visual and dimensional measurements (first articles) of complex purchased and internal components using microscope, optical comparator, CMM, caliper, micrometer, pins gauge, gauge block, height gage, drop indicator amongst other measurement equipments.
* Make acceptance or rejection decisions based on established procedures.
* Have experience in the process used to manage non-conforming product
* Be able to interpret and understand mechanical drawings, blueprints, assembly drawings and BoM for receiving inspection processes.
* Be able to utilize ERP/MRP systems (Oracle, SAP, etc.) and/or Microsoft Office Suite products as necessary to determine/record key information as well as disposition of received products.
* Perform inspections of purchased parts, internal components, sub-assemblies or finished company products according to well defined criteria using standard physical, mechanical and/or electrical measurements/tests.
* Participate in the construction and/or revision of SOP's for the Receiving Inspection function.
