Waterjet Machine Operators - Full-time / Part-time

We are looking for CNC Machine Operators - the majority on a new weekend shift - with strong technical skills to work independently on a CNC waterjet machine. There's potential for 1st and 2nd shift openings as well.

Candidates must be able to setup and operate the machine while working independently. This abrasive waterjet machinery cuts or drills a variety of materials as per customer requirements.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
*Reads production sheet and/or work instructions to determine required components, fixtures and process standards for any given work order.
*CNC machine setup including work offset and tool offsets
*Installs component into holding fixture of abrasive water jet and presses console buttons to activate system to perform cutting or drilling operation.
*Quality inspection using calipers, gage pins and other standard inspection equipment
*Collects data in-process
*Prepares job notes identifying any potential improvements or necessary modifications to work instruction.
*Preventive maintenance on machines.
*Work with Quality and Engineering groups to improve processes and prevent quality issues.

Must haves:
-1+ year CNC mill/lathe or waterjet machine operation experience in manufacturing environment
-Six to twelve months related experience, and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. (Tech school graduates will be considered)
-Must own Steel-toed boots
-Must be a US citizen and must be willing to submit to drug test and background check.
