Powertrain Project Engineer - Full-time / Part-time

This position is for an automotive OEM and will lead and support Machining & Assembly Line Lead & Line Lead Support.

Responsible to Lead/Support the following activities:
- Planning Process, Budget, Schedule for Machining / Assembly Line
- Completing detailed machine investigation / specifications for equipment
- Procuring, running off, and installing equipment
- Work requires focused shutdown work (July & December), weekend work, and possible 2nd shift activity

Qualifications/ Skills:

3+ yrs. automotive process engineering (machining and assembly) experience

BS in Mechanical engineering preferred (related Assoc degree and/or related exp acceptable)

Proficient in MS (Excel, Word)

Strong AutoCAD 2D capability

Strong communication skills (written and verbal)

Ability to work well in a fast paced manufacturing environment
