2nd Shift Warehouse Manager - Full-time

DISH’s Manufacturing team ensures the high quality condition of millions of satellite receivers and remote controls.  State-of-the-art facilities in El Paso, TX, Spartanburg, SC, and Englewood, CO, use advanced diagnostic tools and automated equipment to test, refurbish and redistribute hardware to customers.

SUMMARY

Manages and coordinates the activities of warehouse staff to ensure quality service and to achieve company goals.  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to developing procedures, measuring efficiencies, inventory maintenance, inventory accuracy, receiving and order shipments.  Duties are accomplished personally or through subordinate supervisory staff.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree plus 3+ years related experience and/or training.

• Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the warehouse.
• Responsible for interviewing, hiring, and training employee; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving employee conflicts.
• Ensures proper execution of all policies and procedures with regard to picking, packing, shipping, and receiving.
• Plans layout of stockroom, warehouse, and offsite storage areas.
• Develops procedures, measures efficiencies, inventory maintenance, inventory accuracy, receiving and order shipments.
• Engages in the typical responsibilities of a manager including planning, evaluating, controlling, tracking against goals, budget, and timetables.
• Works with other departments on ordering of product.
