DISH Media Sales seeks a Manager of Programmatic to be based in either the NYC office of Media Sales or the Denver headquarters of the company.  This person will be tasked with helping to lead the effort to sell impressions that remain under-utilized by Dish Media Sales’ traditional sales efforts and help establish the automation for addressable advertising.  The position is also responsible for operations of the platform.  In this role the head of the Programmatic will report to the General Manager of Addressable and together they will set the strategic direction for the group.  The ideal manager of programmatic will drive innovation using DISH viewer measurement data and DISH targeted advertising with the understanding that current ad platforms are changing rapidly and are quickly evolving away from traditional methods of selling ads.

 

Primary responsibilities will fall into the following categories:

 

The Manager of Programmatic will help drive and optimize yield across the DISH platform and is responsible for the following areas:

  • Drive Programmatic sales for Dish by utilizing DISH targeting and viewer measurement data to create compelling selling propositions for programmatic clients and sell any combination of addressable, digital, VOD, or linear impressions while minimizing sales channel conflict and market cannibalization
  • Develop vendor partners that support and enhance the company’s ability to meet revenue goals
  • Develop strong working relationships with all Dish departments to deliver on key performance metrics
  • Work strategically with pricing and inventory team to identify and optimize under-monetized inventory
  • Ensure that our clients receive the highest level of sales and operational customer service by leveraging a highly consultative approach
