The successful Recruiting Coordinator will have the following:

  • Bachelor's degree from 4-year College or University strongly preferred, or at least 2 years related experience and/or training.
  • Solid knowledge and experience of HR and recruitment/selection techniques preferred. 
  • Ability to effectively respond to and interact with all levels of organizational staff; possessing supurb written and verbal communications skills is a must.
  • Must be able to handle strict confidential information and posses sense of urgency.
  • Strong accuracy and attention to detail and the ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects/candidates at once.
  • Ability to work in an adaptive environment with rapidly changing priorities.
  • Proficiency in Windows, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, as well as experience with applicant tracking systems and databases is a plus.

 

The function of the Recruiting Coordinator is to assist the In-Home Services Recruiting Team with various staffing, recruiting, reporting, and process related needs. Responsibilities include: scheduling interviews, assisting with the internal transfer process, guiding IHS candidates through the drug and background process, creating offer documentation, managing new hire training schedules, and organizing travel and new hire documentation ensuring their first day with DISH is a memorable one!  

 

Other duties include:

  • Maintain forms and spreadsheets to enhance applicant and employee tracking.
  • Contribute ideas and implement process improvements relating to temporary and full-time staffing.
  • Create offers of employment, send out interview and new-hire confirmations, candidate rejection letters, etc.
  • Maintain and post job ads to job boards, local colleges, work force centers, etc.
  • Develop and maintain professional business relationships with outside vendors.
  • Manager background checks and drug testing and administer skills assessment testing for candidates.
