Description

Medline, a market leader in Surgical products, has an immediate opening with our OR Clinical Sales Specialist in the New York City region. The team sells a complete line of OR (operating room) related products including hand sanitizers, surgeon’s gloves and wound closure devices. The position reports to the field Division Manager. We are seeking a dynamic, hard-working professional with a solid education or background in the healthcare industry and a desire to work for a fast-paced, large corporate organization. You must be people-oriented with strong inter-personal skills and possess the ability to build lasting relationships.

Responsibilities:
  • Call on multiple clinical and non-clinical decision makers in Acute Care and Ambulatory Surgery Centers within assigned territory;
  • Make sales presentations to multiple decision-makers;
  • Work with Medline sales force to grow targeted accounts;
  • Interact with clinicians to communicate product choices
  • Lead all customer product evaluations and implementations
  • Provide timely reporting and analysis of business conditions within accounts
  • Participates with division on overall product strategy, competitive analyses, research and development requirements as well as other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience required;
  • 2 – 5 years medical sales, preferably surgeon related products. Successful business-to-business outside sales experience will also be considered.
  • Comfortable working in a clinical setting;
  • Track record of demonstrable sales growth and quota attainment;
  • General territory is a 150 mile radius some flights may be required.
  • Ability and desire to learn and present multiple product lines;
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills;
  • Computer proficiency especially in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook
