What you will be doing
- Greet every guest/customers with a smile and positive attitude.
- Take orders, then prepare and deliver items.
- Follow accurate cash handling and room charge procedures.
- Organize and maintain a clean service area.
- Clean tables and assigned area.
- Follow all health and alcohol laws.
- Maintain an inventory of needed supplies.
- Be familiar with hotel facilities and their location and hours.
Requirements
- A minimum of one year food service or related work.
- Able to heat, prepare and serve food.
- Able to operate, maintain and properly clean deep fryer, broiler, stove steamer, food processor, mixer, slicer, over, steam table, tilt kettle, waffle iron, flat top grill.
- Knife handling, decorating / garnishment.
- Communication (verbal and written) and hospitality skills.
- Able to multi-task.
- Count and balance cash register.
- All applicants must be able to work a flexible schedule without restrictions. Ability to work am / pm or overnight shift, including weekends and holidays.
