We have a full-time/part-time opening for a Casual Labor.

Must be able to work various shifts per week.

Manpower is currently hiring a Casual Laborer for one of our clients in Windsor, CT! Job Description: Ensuring the accurate and seamless reception and processing of incoming shipments. The Receiver must load and unload shipments regularly and must be able to operate a forklift, hand truck in a safe and responsible manner. They must examine the contents of all receipts and compare same with records, such as manifests, invoices or orders, to verify accuracy of incoming or outgoing shipment and assess product for damages as needed. To report and coordinate all shortages and damages to the responsible person to ensure a resolution is found. All materials received must be sorted, logged, carded and placed in their respective stocking locations. Receivers are responsible for maintaining cleanliness of receiving area including loading dock and trash areas. The receiver must also understand that the accuracy and efficiency of moving product to shelf is of the utmost importance, its impact on other business functions and production efficiencies. Receiver may be required to assist in scheduling and loading outbound freight.
