Machine Operator

Responsible to set-up, operate and troubleshoot equipment and processes
Ensure machine is adjusted and set up accurately from the shift before per technical specifications given by supervisor
Ensure changeover is completed
Ensure equipment and set-up parameters are established, followed and improved if and when needed
Coaching and mentoring of assistant operators and helpers by providing clear and precise instructions if asked
Ensure materials required for changeover are available and secured prior to set-ups.
Pack product and peform visual quality checks
Accurate inventory and effective control of materials and supplies
minimize downtime by reporting lack of raw materials, tooling and / or equipment issues to the appropriate personnel.
Oversee the assistants and helpers/packers and provide clear and precise instructions to them.
