Industrial Maintenance Technician
Typical duties involve the installation, maintenance and repair of machinery, equipment, and facilities. This position requires previous industrial electrical controls experience. The successful candidate must observe safe work practices such as lock-out tag out, N.E.C., NFPA-79, and Arc Flash procedures.
Ideal candidates will have experience in troubleshooting, repair and installation of industrial machinery including AC & DC drives, and mechanical components. PLC (Allen Bradley, Siemens, and others) experience is a plus. Previous vocational technical training or specialized skill training/certification (PLC,VFD,DC Drives) is preferred.
The ideal candidate must have a good understanding of mechanical components, pneumatic and hydraulics. Ability to read schematics and blueprints is preferred.
Additional skills include Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook and Autocad. Any experience with electrically heated equipment is a plus. (SCR's, SSR's, Temperature Controllers).
Selected employees must be willing to work second and third shift and overtime as needed.
