Maintenance Technician - Full-time / Part-time

Job Description:

Our client is currently looking for a Maintenance Technician for their 2nd Shift. This is a second shift position from 2:30 p.m. - 10:30 p.m. (M-F). They try to minimize OT as much as possible. This position is located in Lancaster, OH.

Job Duties:

- Responsible for managing preventive maintenance, repairing equipment, and fixing safety concerns
- Responsible for coaching and supervising maintenance partners
- Required to prioritize work assignments, interface with vendors, and work closely with the Plant Manager on safety issues.
- Daily accuracy of work is necessary for inventory control and accountability
- Additional responsibilities include housekeeping and adherence to health and safety standards.
- Required to see that all preventive maintenance is complete and machinery is maintained, handles the budget for the Maintenance Department and is involved in health and safety.

Equipment:

- Washers/Dryers
- Boilers
- Conveyers
- Steam Tunnels (50 FT Pressing Machine)
- WasteWater (outsourced)

Work Environment:

Our client is an industrial laundry facility with washers, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyor systems, and boilers in Lancaster, OH. The manager stressed its a pretty laid back environment and very stress free. There is another Maintenance Technician that has worked there 15 years.

Qualifications:

1. Industrial Electrical maintenance experience (480 volt & 3 phase motor)

2. Preventative Maintenance skills

3. CMMS Experience (E-Maint)

4. Electrical and Mechanical maintenance experience (480 volt, 3-Phase Motors).

5. Pneumatic maintenance background

Performance Expectations:

1.) Handle Lockout/Tag out issues.

2.) Perform preventative maintenance on industrial machinery and equipment (washers, dryers, boilers, steam tunnels, and conveyor systems).

3.) Repair, maintain, install, and troubleshoot industrial systems.

4.) Assist and help manage predictive and reactive maintenance.

5.) Assist with indoor and outdoor facility maintenance.
