Aerotek CE is seeking a Mechanical/Quality Engineer for a growing company in Portland, OR. This is a direct placement opportunity.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Introduce new equipment on the manufacturing floor
  • Develop and document manufacturing processes for the new equipment from start to finish
  • Provide support to production for all quality issues
  • Conduct customer contract and PO review
  • Maintain and monitor the corrective and preventative action program
  • Provide customer support for all quality issues
  • Participate in improvement projects
  • Review customer returns and verify against contract and T&C requirements
  • Handle all customer complaints and complaint responses
  • Review for completeness and submit to customer for approval
  • Support continuous improvement and Environmental Health & Safety initiatives

Qualifications:

  • Must have Bachelor's Degree and 2-3 years of experience
  • Must be proficient with MS Office
  • Must have strong technical writing skills
  • Understanding of statistical process control and GD&T concepts preferred
  • Must be able to read blueprints
  • Must be customer service oriented with analytical thinking and problem solving abilities
  • Knowledge of investment casting manufacturing methods preferred, including broad knowledge of metallurgy, thermodynamics & structures
