JOB SUMMARY:
Learn and apply proper troubleshooting, diagnostic and corrective steps in the repair of parts, components and systems within company's products of in construction, agriculture farm equipment, trucks, engines, power generation, etc.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform parts, components, systems and machine inspections to determine operational discrepancies.
- Identify the problem and cause of failure through logical troubleshooting steps.
- Determine corrective action through the inspection of failed parts.
- Order replacement parts and services in a manner that promotes efficiency and effectiveness.
- Repair or replace parts as required within the defined expectations of the task.
- Make critical adjustments as required to various parts, components and systems.
- Use all tooling in a manner that is not destructive to the tooling or the item being serviced.
- Operate product to verify proper operation.
- Ensure that the repair has not adversely altered the machine appearance.
- Dispose of failed parts, fluids and other waste in a manner that is considerate of the environment.
- Complete all necessary documentation and follow up as required in a timely, orderly manner.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations. Must use all safety equipment necessary for the job.
- Demonstrate the ability to learn and apply new knowledge.
- Work varying shifts and overtime as business needs arise.
- Maintain work area, tools, and equipment to promote a clean and safe environment.
- Create a work environment that is considerate of the customer's needs.


SKILLS:
Ability to perform basic and more complicated mathematic. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Must be able to read and comprehend specifications, service and parts literature, technical bulletins and other related publications. Must be able to communicate thoughts and ideas in both verbal and written form. Ability to use computers and have command of appropriate software. Ability to learn to effectively operate any company software - with training. Positive customer service. Basic mechanical knowledge including electrical and hydraulics.

REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred.
